Welcome to my styled page!
Step 1:
- The doctype tag tells the browser what kind of HTML it is.
- A hyperlink is a link that connects to a different page.
- We shouldn't use a word processor for webpages because the document will not work with all browsers.
Step 2:
- A selector tells the browser which part of the document is affected by the rule.
- The properties are color and background color.
Step 3:
- The helvetica font will be on the h1 heading.
- We should include the name of four fonts because not all computers have the same fonts.
Step 4:
- The pading propperty is padding-left.
- The size of the current font.
- The list tag is affected by li.nav.
Step 5:
- It makes the background color of the links gray.
- It makes the links not be underlined.
- They differentiate between visited and unvisited links.
Step 6:
- Two other border appearances are Groove and ridge.
Step 7:
- A seperate style sheet is used for a large site because if the site grows we might want to add more pages that share the same style.
- The tag is link rel="stylesheet" href="newstyle.css"
